Hm, I think I left off last time at my going to house/dog sit for my Auntie Debbie. That task was completed some weeks ago, but for those of you who didn't know, it went smoothly. While I was there I was able to go over to visit with my Uncle Jamie, Aunt Val and kids. Talked a lot about schooling kids, family, personalities and the like. It was very nice as I haven't been able to really visit with them in a long time. Their kids continue to grow like weeds, as most kids do. It was nice to be able to get to know them a little better as they are some of my less familiar cousins, due to age gaps I suppose and our having moved away from Alberta. Very talented family, especially when it comes to music; a few of the kids are taking voice lessons as well as music lessons for various instruments. While I was there I was able to go to Zion's voice recital, which had several very talented singers, of which she was certainly one. :) The dogs behaved very well, loved chasing their balls around the designated grassy area, and Debbie & Co. really enjoyed Cuba, cept for the plumbing.
While I was there Tam and I also sold our first dresses, and I suppose the start of that is just one more reason why I haven't done a real post in just that long. We set up a temporary site on blogger, which worked pretty well, but now we're working on getting a real one together so we might have more ease in the inventory area. Hard to keep up with what's sold when, and have the time to take it down at the drop of a hat. Hope to have the new one done within the next couple of weeks, in time to meet that summer market looking for sunny little patchwork dresses in a range of sizes and colors from 6 months to 5 years..how's that for a sales pitch? :D Also wanting to sew some more hats, although not sure how the demand will be for those. Only one real way to find out, via trial and error. So yeah, while I was there I was mostly limited to cutting fabric and setting up our blog, it was however a nice break from the every day demands on life.
I ended up getting a ride to Dawson Creek (where my bus was leaving) with my mom, which was nice although an hour drive doesn't leave a whole ton of time for talking. She was on her way to Fort Nelson to pick up the rest of their horses. Before going to catch my bus we stopped by my Grandma/ Tim and Heidi's, where we were supplied a wonderful breakfast by Heidi, and had a bit of time to catch up on the latest family type news. So I took the bus, which left late as per usual, and had a pretty uneventful ride home.
Upon arriving home it was back to life. The back to life type tasks included rototilling the garden, doing some planting, building a new compost box, pumping up the bikes, teaching the kids to ride them, yard/house work, sewing, site building, going to the chiropractor (lower back was bothering me some), and much more.
Now we're getting geared up for an 11 hour trip to Fort Nelson next week for Sundae and Davey's wedding. We're gonna give a couple other cousins here in town a ride as far as Dawson where we'll meet up with Auntie Debbie, swap some people and pick up a Dorry and Amos. :D We'll be coming back Monday, and then it's on with arranging things for June/July and back to business. So much to look forward to. :D:D
Talking about getting back to business it's time to find some lunch and move it along, I'll try to post a few more old pics sometime today for those interested in seeing some. :D Hope all is well, and that it ends well. :)

I'm a here to give you a post, whoever "you" may be, and also similar to a post it may be very boring to stare at. But on the other hand if there is no"you" reading this, there's at least a me, and who do I like reading about more than myself? Ok, yes that sounded very vain, so I will move quickly on to a post.
